Turn on Record answers

Open your event's Settings tab and turn on Record answers before its first session starts.

Every Live Session in the event records, including ones you add later. Players already in a game were never told, so recording can't start partway through. You can turn it off at any time, and recording stops at once.

  • Paid plans. Included with every Party pass, Pro and Enterprise.

Players are told when they join

While answers are recorded, the join screen says so right under the Join button.

Players still join with just a name, with no app and no account. Their answers are saved under that name, and only you can read them.

See who needs a follow-up

Play your quiz as usual. Afterwards, open the session's analytics from your event's Report and pick the Answers tab.

Needs follow-up lists everyone under your cut-off, lowest score first. Questions to cover again shows every question fewer than 35% of the room got right, with the answer and the most common wrong one.

  • Your cut-off. Pick 50%, 60%, 70% or 80%. It starts at 60%.

  • No answer is not wrong. Someone who didn't answer is shown as no answer, so a dropped connection never reads as a wrong answer.

Which plans include it?

Every paid plan: a Party pass, Pro and Enterprise. It isn't part of Free.

What if my Party pass ends?

Nothing new is recorded once your plan ends. Everything already recorded stays in the session's analytics and its CSV.

Who can see the answers?

Only you, from your own dashboard. Players never see each other's recorded answers.

Names, not accounts

Answers are saved under the name a player joins with. Someone who rejoins under a different name shows up twice.

Playing in teams

Each member's answer is saved with their team's name. When only the team lead answers, the lead's answer stands for the whole team.

What isn't recorded

One-host sessions, and games without one right answer, like Telepathy or Charades.
